We've been serving central Nebraska since 1953. Paul's father, Fred Spady got his start in the car business in 1941, working for Phil Worthing and selling Plymouth and DeSoto cars. In 1953, Fred started the first Spady dealership--what would soon become an automotive empire.
In 1956, Fred Spady Motors acquired the Oldsmobile franchise, and in 1958 he added the Buick franchise. Fred continued on in the business until his retirement in 1980. Paul continued on with the Spady tradition in his father's place, and is still the owner of Paul Spady Motors, Inc., still the original corporation from 1953.
Since the period of the early 1980's, Paul Spady continued to grow his business, acquiring the Chrysler Plymouth Dodge franchies in the cities of Hastings, Norfolk, Columbus, and Kearney Nebraska.
As time went on, Paul set each of his three sons up with their own dealership. Mike Spady with Great Plains Chrysler-Dodge, Inc. in Hastings Nebraska, Jeff Spady with Jeff Spady Chrysler Dodge Jeep, Inc. in Kearney Nebraska, and Phil Spady with Phil Spady Chrysler Dodge, Inc. in Columbus Nebraska. Paul sold his dealership in Norfolk Nebraska.
In the year 2000 is when Paul purchased the Ford Lincoln Mercury franchises here in Hastings Nebraska. And as you can see from the photos to the right; Paul has built beautiful dealership facilities for FRONTIER Ford Lincoln Mercury and Paul Spady Buick/Polaris PowerSports accross U.S. Highway 281 from each other in Hastings Nebraska. When the new facility for FRONTIER Ford-Lincoln-Mercury was built in 2003, the new Speedy Lube and Car Wash was also built, and it is located directly in front of FRONTIER Ford-Lincoln-Mercury.
Over the years we've seen the world change in a lot of ways, but one thing that has not changed is our commitment to you, the customer. We remain just as dedicated today as we were in 1953--when Fred Spady opened the doors to his showromm; your complete satisfaction.
